I have the all new Zoya Sophisticates Fall 2017 collection to show you today!
Today I not only have these new beautiful shades by Zoya to show you, but I also have a wedding to attend. Tis the season I guess. This will be our second of the summer, but we still have three more to go to. But before I start getting ready I wanted you all to see the new Zoya Sophisticates Fall 2017 colors that are available today! Zoya‘s latest collection is filled with metallic, creams, and pearl finishes and are perfect for the upcoming cooler weather. Which coincidently we have today. High of 70 degrees. Where did summer go?
ZOYA SOPHISTICATES FALL 2017
All of these shades are super shiny on their own. I didn’t need to use top coat for any of them. Some are so shiny that everything reflected off of them. The glare was beyond my control.
“McKenna” is a soft almond shade in a pearl finish. Shown is two smooth coats. This shade is almost the same shade as my skin. I’m pretty pasty!
“Beth” is a soft, sandy, rose gold metallic. To me this is more of a shimmer than a metallic. Either way this is one of my favorites from the collection. Shown is two coats.
“Presley” is a smokey, mauve taupe cream. This leans a bit gray and I’m loving it! Not something I would necessarily go for, but something about it is drawing me in! Shown is two easy coats.
“Joni” is a deep, dusty plum cream, almost a dark mauve. This one screams “fall” to me! I could see this paired with some cute boots and jeans, a sweater and a scarf. But maybe that is because sometimes it is bitter cold here in the fall. Shown is two easy coats.
“Hera” is a muted, red mauve cream. I see this one more as a deep rose color. Shown is two easy coats. This polish reminds me of a client of mine when I worked in a salon. She used to come in every week and wanted the same color over and over. It was an old OPI about this same color. I think this color is pretty, don’t get me wrong, but there is no way I wear the same color every day of my life. However, after a few months of giving this woman manicures I found out that her husband loved the polish she chose and she wore it for him, years after he passed away.
“Padma” is described as a deep, vermillion red cream. I always thought vermillion was a scarlet red and I even had to Google it. 😉 This is a darker version of “Hera.” Still beautiful, just not vermillion. Shown is two smooth coats.
“Yvonne” is a rich, Bordeaux red cream. This one is so amazing! I am loving the rich red tones and the creamy quality. Shown is two smooth coats. And as you can see, the darker the colors, the shinier they seem. That is when everything starts reflecting off of my nails.
“Mona” is a deep, burgundy plum cream. Shown is two easy coats. It’s funny how a name can trigger something. When I saw the name “Mona” for this, my brain quickly went to Mona from Who’s The Boss?. I could easily see her wearing this vampy shade!
“Elaine” is a dark, umber brown cream. I would describe this more as a dark chocolate. In fact it looks so much like dark chocolate that I got a craving for it while I was swatching. Shown is two smooth chocolatey coats.
“Hadley” is a smokey, midnight blue cream. I love the deep, dark navy shade of this one. These dark colors are definitely making me want fall to be here. But I am not done with summer yet so it is a catch 22. Shown is two easy coats.
“Tabitha” is a deep hunter green pearl finish. If you ever want to do camo nail art, this is the perfect army green with a bit of shimmer thrown in to make it seem a bit more girly. I love the added shimmer and character it adds. Shown is two smooth coats.
“Gal” is a smokey, iridescent, peridot gold metallic. This is the only one I needed three coats for. It still went on super smooth, even with the tiny bits of micro glitter. With my skin tone, this is a color I would usually stay away from, but something about it makes me not care if my skin looks pink.
Don’t forget these are available today! You can grab them all for $10 each.
