I think it is pretty safe to say that most people think of summer when they see neon colors. Either that or the 1980s! 🙂 I love neons for summer. But they do tend to warm up cold winter days too. Luckily, it is finally spring and the sun has been shining more and more! Today I am going to show you the new Summer Neons by Turtle Tootsies. The Jailbird collection is filled with 6 holo neons, a glitter crelly and a topper.
This collection will be releasing at The Polish Convention on April 29th and available online Sunday, April 30th. This set will sell for $10 full size and $6 mini size. If you purchase the full set online it will be $75 for the full size and $45 for the minis. If you buy them at Polish Con you will save an EXTRA $5.
THE JAILBIRD COLLECTION BY TURTLE TOOTSIES
The six “holo’d” neons have a subtle linear holo. The holo is there, but to capture the true color of these neons I had to use different lighting so the holo looks duller in my photos. Catch 22.
“CRIME OF PASSION”
“Crime of Passion” is a pink holo’d neon. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
“DOES THIS JUMPSUIT MAKE ME LOOK FAT?”
“Does This Jumpsuit Make Me Look Fat?” is an orange holo’d neon. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
“Caution Tape” is a yellow holo’d neon. This one leans green, think slime. 😉 Shown is three coats plus top coat.
“Taze Me” is a green holo’d neon. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
“Behind Bars” is a blue holo’d neon. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
“Mugshot” is a purple holo’d neon. Shown is two coats plus top coat. *This post was edited to change the name of this shade.
“Temporary Insanity” is a holo glitter topper full of neon pink, orange and yellow glitters. Shown is one coat over “Taze Me.”
“20 TO LIFE”
“20 To Life” is a white crelly with blue, pink, orange, yellow, purple, green and blue glitters. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Guess what?! These neons stamp like a charm! Shown below is “Mugshot,” “Behind Bars,” and “Crime of Passion” stamped over white. The plate is What’s Up Nails plate A010.
I also did a rainbow gradient and added black stamping using plate B009 from What’s Up Nails.
