Time for the Tonic Nail Polish Holiday Duo + Multichrome Madness swatches.
My love for Tonic Nail Polish started with their 2016 Holiday Collection. I purchased it last year after Christmas and fell in love. Hard. Now I get to share their new Holiday 2017 Duo plus three customs they did for the Multichrome Madness Facebook group. The Tonic Nail Polish Holiday Duo + Multichrome Madness customs release on December 9th at 2pm CST. Because of all of the shifty factors in these polishes, this post is photo heavy!
TONIC NAIL POLISH HOLIDAY DUO + MULTICHROME MADNESS
Let’s take a look at the Holiday Duo first. This duo will only be available as a gift set for the holiday season. You can get it for $28 and it includes two polishes and one magnet. It comes wrapped in special packaging so whether you are giving it as a gift or keeping it for yourself it is ready to go. This set is only available for the month of December but will be restocked individually in the future.
“Becoming” is a magnetic multichrome (which is why you get a magnet in your order.) It has a dark blue base with magnetic green-purple shifting multichrome pigment and iridescent orange-red flakes that shift green. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
I have this shown two ways. I used the magnet on both. This was the very first time I have swatched a magnetic polish. Love it! I may have over did it though.
“Superstar” is a deep berry red with a strong blue multichrome glow that shifts to vibrant red with flaming orange/red iridescent flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Below is in indirect lighting.
TONIC MULTICHROME MADNESS CUSTOMS
The Multichrome Madness customs will have three new custom colors and four returning shades. I only have the three new ones to share with you today. The other four are the Golden Girls multichromes that Tonic released last year.
“Innocence” is a blue-lilac base with sparkly pink-gold-green multichrome flash and scattered holo. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Below it is shown in indirect lighting.
“Hush” is a blue-green-purple multichrome with pink-gold-green shimmers. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
More photos below!
“Zeppo” is a deep purple/fuchsia-green-gold magnetic multichrome in a dark base with glowing blue iridescent flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
This kept changing in different lighting so below are a few extra macros. 😉
This one requires a very strong magnet which is sold separately. These magnets are very strong but very brittle so handle with care.
