Time for The Holo Hookup November 2017 Galaxy themed box!
Today is the 14th of the month which means I get to share the November Holo Hookup! Woot Woot! I love this day! Today is also National Dessert Day and I am all about the desserts! Chocolate, chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate are my faves! 😉 I Googled Galaxy Desserts and omigod! There are some beautiful baked goods. If you are on a diet, don’t look. I gained a few pounds just dreaming about the galaxy buttercream frosting on those scrumptious cupcakes. Yum! Instead of looking at sweets, let’s check out The Holo Hookup November 2017 Galaxy polishes.
THE HOLO HOOKUP NOVEMBER 2017 GALAXY
This box is filled with holo-y goodness, hence the name. ? Every month Glisten & Glow, Different Dimension and Cupcake Polish get together with a guest maker to bring us a phenomenal and well thought out box. This month Femme Fatale is the guest and the theme is Galaxy. Pre-orders for the November 2017 box go live at 9pm EST on October 21st until October 28th at 9pm EST.
I decided to stick with the theme and do galaxy and space nail art over all four of the holos. The stamping on all of them were done using the What’s Up Nails Plate B011 Intergalactic Encounter stamping plate.
CUPCAKE POLISH “MILKY WAY”
“Milky Way” is a creamy periwinkle linear holographic. This polish is perfect for National Dessert Day! Well, not the polish, the candy bar. You know what I mean! 🙂 Shown is two coats plus top coat.
I did a galaxy mani over this stunning periwinkle by sponging the Glisten & Glow holo over it and then adding constellations. The stars were stamped on using Twinkled T’s white stamping polish.
DIFFERENT DIMENSION “COMET”
“Comet” is a navy blue linear holo with blue to green color shifting shimmers. TI think this is much more teal than navy blue. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
On top of this one I used Twinkled T’s white and Colors by Llarowe Sparkling Diamonds stamping polishes.
GLISTEN & GLOW “ASTEROID BELT”
“Asteroid Belt” is a deep blackened indigo linear holographic with copper shimmers and tiny twinkling microglitters. Shown is two coats plus top coat. This polish needs no nail art. It is a galaxy in a bottle! But of course I added to it…
I wanted to bring out the copper shimmers in this holo so I used Stamped in Mocha by Painted Polish for these cute planets.
FEMME FATALE “EXOSPHERE”
“Exosphere” is a light berry linear holo with turquoise shine and scattered silver holographic microglitters. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
For the nail art over this one I sponged on white and then used Twinkled T’s silver for the stars.
To keep going with the galaxy theme, I did a simple nail art using all four of the holos. I started with a white base and just sponged on the holos.
I can never leave well enough alone, so I added more stamping still using the same What’s Up Nails plate that was mentioned above.
