A twist on a Christmas collection.
These bright almost neon colors take Christmas to a super fun level! This collection is inspired by the Scissor Sister’s song, “Let’s Have a Kiki.” I had to Google this band and song. I then saw that Glee covered the song on the show with Sarah Jessica Parker on lead vocals. I love her but I don’t watch Glee. I am losing this battle…
The Christmas Kiki Holiday 2016 collection by Lollipop Posse Lacquer will be releasing Thursday, November 24th at 11pm EST. These shades will be $9.50 each or $34.00 for the complete collection. (US Shipping is included for full collection.) Limited supplies available.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer sent me this little snipet: Urban Dictionary defines a kiki as “A party including good music and good friends, held for the express purpose of calming nerves, reducing anxiety and stress and generally fighting ennui. May involve locked doors, tea and salacious gossip.”
LOLLIPOP POSSE LACQUER CHRISTMAS KIKI “A PARTY FOR CALMING ALL YOUR NERVES”
“A Party for Calming All Your Nerves” is a matte, royal purple shade filled with blue-violet shifting shimmer. Wear alone for a matte effect or top with a glossy top coat. I have done both! Shown below is two coats. I then added a shiny top coat.
LOLLIPOP POSSE LACQUER CHRISTMAS KIKI “DISHING JUST DESSERTS”
“Dishing Just Desserts” is a matte, hot pink shade filled with red-purple shifting shimmer. This is another one you can wear alone for a stunning matte look, or with a glossy top coat. Shown is two coats alone and then with top coat.
LOLLIPOP POSSE LACQUER CHRISTMAS KIKI “BID ADIEU TO YOUR ENNUI”
“Bid Adieu to Your Ennui” is a matte, ocean blue shade that is filled with blue-green shifting shimmer. Shown two coats alone and matte. And then with a glossy top coat.
LOLLIPOP POSSE LACQUER CHRISTMAS KIKI “THIS KIKI IS MARVELOUS”
“This Kiki is Marvelous” is a glitter bomb packed with magenta and cyan iridescent glitters in various shapes and sizes, as well as scattered holo dust. This is specifically formulated to coordinate with each of the matte shades shown above. I have used one coat over “Dishing Just Desserts” and then one coat over black.
I then added a matte top coat. Look at that! Gorgeous!
I found all three of the matte shades to be quite stunning. Since they dry matte, they dry rather quickly and you want to work fast. If you don’t, which I didn’t at first, it gets a bit thick and clumpy on the nail.
