Today I have the new Gracefull Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection to show you.
Theresa, the maker of Gracefull Nail Polish, definitely loves her Gilmore Girls. When I swatched her last Gilmore Girls collection, ‘Oy With The Poodles Already’, I was a bit lost. I am ashamed to say that I had never seen the show before that. Then I knew with the names she had that I had to watch it. So I had a Netflix binge and fell in love with the show, the story, and of course the characters. I was so excited to hear that Gracefull Nail Polish was coming out with a new Gilmore Girls inspired collection.
The Gracefull Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection will be available on July 22nd at 7pm CST.
GRACEFULL NAIL POLISH IN OMNIA PARATUS COLLECTION
After each description I am going to add a little note from Theresa on how she chose the color and name of each polish.
“GET A HOOKER”
“Get a Hooker” is a bright pink holo. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
A pink polish for Paris? I know right? Seems like an oxymoron and Paris’s polish started as a teal as it’s apparently the color for strong women. Don’t get me wrong, Paris is strong but there is also a hidden normal woman within. One with the same worries and concerns and self doubt that most of us go through. I chose the pink in the end to represent that side of Paris that is often missed.
“Vale Richard” is a rich red holo with gold flecks throughout. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Oh Richard, how sad it was to continue our Gilmore Girl Journey without you. An old leather book with gold writing on the cover inspired this polish. Vale is another word for farewell.
“I’M THE MAN”
“I’m The Man” is a black jelly with red and copper flakes and iridescent glitter that moves from red to green to gold. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
I’m the Man is the song Hep Alien sang in the return movie.
“Yes, Purple” is a purple jelly base with microglitter in both holo and metallic in shades of pink, purple, gold and copper. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
This was inspired by Lane and especially the time when she dyed her hair purple only to dye it back again because she was afraid of her Mother’s reaction.
“Ace” is a deep royal blue jelly with UCC flakes in blue, purple, pink and turquoise with holo microglitter. Shown is three coats plus top coat.
Logan…sigh. I dislike him immensely the whole story line of his affair with Rory but for some reason I’m still team Logan. This polish has a gorgeous rich blue base which scream Logan at me. Filled with color changing flakes in a jelly so they change color perfectly represented Logan to me. The name Ace is after the nickname Logan gives Rory.
I also added a matte top coat to this one.
“The Subsect” is a described as a green holo that flashes silver and moves to a deeper richer green. I see this as more of a teal leaning blue. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Jess – strong, mysterious yet irresistible is what I wanted the Jess polish to reflect. The name is the title of the book Jess wrote.
“Dodge Lancer” is a light denim blue holo with holo flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat. I think this is my favorite of the collection.
Dean’s polish had to capture one of those moments of young love between Rory and Dean. I decided to use the color of the Dodge Lancer Dean repaired and restored for Rory.
“Ooober” is a multichrome that moves through green, red, and copper. Shown is three thin coats plus top coat. This is shown in direct and indirect lighting.
Kirk’s polish had to be a plain yet complex polish. This multichrome is far nicer on the nail and I think suits Kirk to a tee.
Make sure to grab the Gracefull Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection on July 22nd!
