Today I am going to show you some Glisten & Glow nail art designs. Over the last few days I was on a creme kick and Glisten & Glow makes some of the best ones.
I am sure by now you know that I love holographic nail polish, but I also love a good creme polish. Jill from Glisten & Glow has sent me some gorgeous cremes over the past years and I wanted to share some more nail art I have done using a few of them. I didn’t use all of them, but I chose to use some of the brighter shades from the Experience the Islands and Serenity in Spring collections.
GLISTEN & GLOW NAIL ART DESIGNS
Up first is a tribal design I did using “Parasail in Puerto Rico” and “Bungee Jump in the Bahamas,” both from Experience the Islands. I also used “Inner Purpose Ignites” and “Mantras atop Mountains,” both from Serenity in Spring. To achieve this look I did a gradient and then stamped over top with plate A006 from What’s Up Nails.
I then added Glisten & Glow‘s Matte Top Coat.
Next is a gradient I did using “Tranquility in Time” and “Calming Ones Chakras” both from Serenity in Spring. The gradient is a diagonal one. I double stamped over it using Uber Chic Beauty plate 4-03. The black and gold stamping polishes are from Pueen. And of course I had to matte it. The glossy top coat had a glare right over the stamping design.
The next one is a super simple black and white look using “Little Black Dress” from the All Dressed Up Duo as the base. I stamped over this one using two different plates. Moyou Madala 04 to create the top half circle design and Bundle Monster + Elleandish BM-XL201 for the feathers. This idea was completely inspired by a shirt.
Mermaid time! I am going to show you this manicure in four parts. There are four different looks as I just couldn’t decide which I liked the best. I started with the look below. I sponged on “Snorkel in St. Thomas,” “Bungee Jump in the Bahamas,” and “Harmonious Healing.” The stamping was done using Bundle Monster + twi_star plate BM-XL211.
Then I added some mermaids using the same Bundle Monster plate and Painted Polish “Stamped in Stone.” The seashell and starfish were done using Clear Jelly Stamper Secret Jewel Garden stamping plate and Painted Polish “Stamped in Starfruit.” And I added a matte top coat.
For the final look of the mermaid nails I added some glitter at the base of the nail using Cupcake Polish “Sprinkles.” I still haven’t picked a favorite! 😉
