The Cupcake Polish Mod About You Collection is themed around a wonderful decade and the subculture it created – a Mod 60s collection! Cupcake Polish Mod About You collection is a 6 piece super holographic set. These polishes are super vibrant and the color scheme is perfection! This collection launches on July 8th at 2pm CST. CUPCAKE POLISH MOD ABOUT YOU COLLECTION
I have a feeling that some of these colors will become the new Cupcake Polish sought after shades like the gorgeous “Berry Good Looking” or “Water You Doing?” All of these are opaque in 1-2 coats, even for me! 😉 I can’t even begin to explain my love for this collection! Just see for yourself…
“CRAZY MOD LOVE”
“Crazy Mod Love” is a berry pink linear holographic. Shown is ONE coat plus top coat.
“FRINGE BENEFITS”
“Fringe Benefits” is a royal blue linear holographic. Shown is two coats plus top coat. This can easily be a ONE coater!
“GETTIN’ TWIGGY WITH IT”
“Gettin’ Twiggy With It” is a gunmetal grey linear holographic. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
“LOOK AT YOU GO-GO”
“Look At You Go-Go” is a dove grey linear holographic. Shown is two coats plus top coat. I thought this one might need a third, but it didn’t! 🙂
“MOD SQUAD”
“Mod Squad” is a royal purple linear holographic. Shown is ONE coat plus top coat.
“SUITOR ON A SCOOTER”
“Suitor on a Scooter” is a medium blue linear holographic. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
Using Crazy Mod Love, Look At You Go-Go, and Suitor on a Scooter I came up with this wet brush design.
There is so much holo in this that I couldn’t get my camera to focus for the macro, but you get the idea…
And because I can never leave well enough alone, I added stamping using Uber Chic Beauty plate 18-01.
The next look is a reverse stamping design using 5 of the six holos and the Lina Nail Art Supplies Feeling Shapely 02 plate.
Then I did a gradient using four of the polishes and topped it off with another design from the Feeling Shapely 02 plate by Lina Nail Art Supplies. I was going for a Mod pattern with this. 😉
