Today I will be showing you a few limited edition shades by Contrary Polish. All three of these were inspired by and named after phrases from The New Colossus. This is a poem written for and mounted on the base of the Statue of Liberty. Check out the poem here.
These polishes will be available in person at Polish Con and then be available for a limited time online the following week.
LIMITED EDITION POLISH CON SHADES BY CONTRARY POLISH
“Sunset Gates” is a dark blurple base with a strong color-shifting shimmer of violet-red-orange-gold. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
“MOTHER OF EXILES”
“Mother of Exiles” is a sparkling metallic multichrome shifting from copper to gold to green based on the original copper color of the Statue of Liberty. Shown is three thin coats plus top coat. The shimmer was very noticeable in person to me, but the shiftiness of the multichrome is subtle.
“YEARNING TO BREATHE FREE”
“Yearning To Breathe Free” is a blue base (slightly grey/slightly green) with fine gold shimmer and five sizes of holo elements including fine linear pigment and micro flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat.
