Color Club Oil Slick Collection

Today I am going to show you some great multichromes!

The Color Club Oil Slick Collection is filled with six multichrome shades.  Multichrome polishes are very tricky to capture on camera, but in person are so amazing!  Live.Love.Polish sent these my way and I am going to do my best to show them to you in all their multichrome glory!

I will be showing these polishes under two different lights.  The first photo will be under LED lights and the second under daylight bulbs.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “DON’T KALE MY VIBE”

“Don’t Kale My Vibe” is a green multichrome that shifts between shades of green, gold, orange and teal.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  I also saw flashes of pink in this one as well.  This one was an ok shift.  Not a dramatic in your face kind of shift.  You can get this one here.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “CASH ONLY”

“Cash Only” is a gunmetal multichrome that shifts between gunmetal, orange, green, and gold.  I saw some brown in this one too.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  The shift in this one is great!  I love the different greys and browns. You can get this one here.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “WE’LL NEVER BE ROYALS”

“We’ll Never Be Royals” is a purple multichrome that shifts between shades of purple, magenta, and red.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  The shift in this one is great!  The purple and pink are very visible!  You can find this one here.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “BURNT OUT”

“Burnt Out” is a multichrome that shifts between shades of orange, red, gold, and green.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  This one has the most dramatic shift!  You can get this one here.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “SORRY NOT SORRY”

“Sorry Not Sorry” is a pink multichrome that shifts between shades of pink, orange, and gold.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  This one is an ok shifter.  Not too noticeable since the colors are all pretty light.  You can find this one here.

COLOR CLUB OIL SLICK “ICE BREAKER”

“Ice Breaker” is a blue multichrome that shifts between shades of blue, grey, teal, copper, and gold.  Shown is two coats plus top coat.  This is another one that has a semi good shift.  Not over the top, but still there.  You can find this one here.

All in all the polishes are nice.  They all applied great and dried at an average rate.  They are a bit streaky for the first coat but the second coat helps cover that up.  I think three of them are wonderful multichromes but the other three don’t have as much a shift as I would have hoped.

I did keep playing with them and decided to do a sort of Christmas-y nail art.

The stamping was done using Moyou Festive plate 18.  The shades in the art are “Burnt Out,” “Don’t Kale My Vibe,” and “We’ll Never Be Royals.”

Thanks for reading!
