Today I will be showing you some gorgeous shades from AEngland.
The AEngland polishes I am showing you today were sent to me by Hypnotic Polish (a stockist in the Netherlands.) AEngland isn’t new to me, but I have never officially swatched them. I have a few I have purchased or received as gifts and I am in love with them! The Tennyson Romance Collection is no different! Five gorgeous holo glowy finishes!
I used two coats plus top coat for all 5 of these polishes. I could have gotten away with one coat for a couple of them and I will tell you which ones in their descriptions.
A ENGLAND “KING COPHETUA”
“King Cophetua” is described as a holographic blackened green. I didn’t really see a green to it, but it is still stunning! This could definitely be a one coater!
A ENGLAND “THE BEGGAR MAID”
“The Beggar Maid” is a complex holo in medium warm grey with a metallic sheen. This one has a dull finish compared to the rest. I don’t mean dull as in boring! It is not boring at all! It just needs a glossy top coat to bring out the shine.
A ENGLAND “ANGEL GRACE”
“Angel Grace” is a soft, delicate periwinkle holo with lilac blush. Purple! Love this so much! I have seen some compare this to “Crown of Thistles” but I don’t think they are close. This one is lighter and has bluer tones.
A ENGLAND “IN ROBE AND CROWN”
“In Robe and Crown” is a dark lavish red garnet holo. This one reminds me of cherry coke. Not sure why, but all of these “is it red or is it brown?” shades remind me of cherry coke. This one can also easily be a one coater.
A ENGLAND “SHALL BE MY QUEEN”
“Shall Be My Queen” is a light red holo. In some lights this is more red than others. I thought it was just me until I started looking at other swatches of this.
I continued to play around with a few of these and did some nail art. I was inpsired by Sveta Sanders. I will have the video tutorial on Instagram later today.
